This prehistoric Oak has lain undisturbed in the peat bogs of Ireland for almost 5000 years. The oak is air dried for two years before we individually carve and mount the 24Kt gold plate or chrome fittings, turning this ancient wood into a beautiful writing instrument. The pen is propelled with a twist action and takes a standard ballpoint refill.

Each Bog Oak pen is presented in a wooden presentation box which can be personalised with a laser burnt inscription e.g. a name, date or special occasion such as 'Happy 5th Anniversary'. Please give inscription detail when adding to bag.

Each wooden pen handcrafted will have its own wood grain characteristics and varying dark tones.
